Teshae Silveira aka Teshae Star, one of Jamaica’s youngest and rising stars. She is a 12years old girl who loves her family, school, singing and writing songs, playing with her friends, and having a lot of fun.  She attends St. Michael’s Primary School in Kingston, Jamaica.

Young singer Teshae Star has released her first official single, 'Father God', which was inspired by the circumstances she observes daily. Teshae came to national attention last year after she performed with her musical idol, Romain Virgo, at Reggae Sumfest. She has done a collaboration with the soulful singer on his song Dutty Man. Her recently release 'Father God' was inspired by watching the news one day and all she heard was the news of a deadly virus called the “Corona Virus” and how its affecting peoples’ health and public safety as well as the many lives loss, and “so the words just came to me and I started writing”.

Jamaica's rising talent, Teshae Vernica Silvera, aka Teshae Star known for her collaboration with Romaine Virgo's motivational song 'Dutty Man'. Teshae has graced the stages of Digicel Rising Star, Kai Kit kids launch, Kids Heritage Park (St. Ann) as well as for Saigicore's Motivational Seminar. "I want to do a song about children. I don't like wah gwaan in the community, and music can influence us." Due to the harsh climate against women and children, Teshae Star's heart and commitment to sharing positivity are timely. As she juggles school and performances, she is undoubtedly posed to be one of reggae's brightest stars.

In 5 years, Teshae Star sees herself in grade 11 working towards her High School graduation certificate as well as pursuing her musical, and acting career. She wants to become a doctor when she grows up. Teshae star is a little girl with a big heart who believes in giving back and serving my community. For her 12th birthday in August, she chooses to do a back to school treat for all the school-age children in her community.
